cover art for lullaby albumHeroes, I have long been a die-hard fan of the piano. Granted, I wasn’t quite as fond when I was struggling to learn to play it. Lessons, practice…my heart didn’t go pitty pat for it. But I’ve always loved the piano.

Listening to the piano though, that’s something I can do for hours upon hours. So when Ken Elkinson contacted me to do a giveaway of some of his piano music, I was just thrilled.

The reason for the giveaway is a celebration of his new album Around the Globe in a Lullaby Volume 1, new this year. Here is what Ken has to say about the album: “It is a collection of lullabies from around the world, some well known – some more obscure. It is solo piano, and on each track I improvise giving even the well known songs a fresh take. As a parent of 3 kids under the age of 7, I can tell you the CD definitely helps them unwind, both in bed and in the car!”

You can listen to tracks from various albums on the site.

Mmmmmmmmmm. Piano.

Anyway! Ken is generously giving away a copy of the lullaby CD as well as 2 other albums of the winner’s choice. With over 30 albums on the site, there’s plenty to choose from. All you have to do is use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter the giveaway. No purchase is necessary; you enter by commenting on this blog post, liking Ken Elkinson or Earnest Parenting on Facebook, Tweeting the giveaway, or following on Twitter. Winner will be chosen via random drawing after contest end at midnight on December 12, 2013.

And! Ken is offering a 20% discount to all readers who order before December 15. His prices are already extremely reasonable, and the discount is downright generous. Simply email Ken at kelkinson@gmail.com and use the phrase “Earnest Parenting”.

If you have a piano aficionado in your life, or small children in need of rest, these albums will be just the ticket.
