Continuing on with our Howcast Baby series, I present today part one of the How to Change a Diaper series. Many may think this is not a big deal, until they are faced with the prospect of cleaning a dirty bottom without causing infection or getting mess…everywhere. It really is a skill, let me tell you!
Earnest Parenting: help for parents who want to change diapers safely.
I just had to laugh at the amount of stuff on the changing table. Our sixth kid is now 9 months old and I’ve changed more diapers than I can count. It may start out this way but soon you will be changing diapers almost anywhere with a diaper, some wipes and not much more. We all want our kids to be healthy, but don’t freak out. It’s like learning to drive. At first it’s overwhelming but you get the hang of it soon enough. So drive safely, and have fun with the kids!
Your advice is beyond excellent, Steve! I remember how much I changed over the course of 4 boys myself, and it is funny. I don’t think we ever had that much stuff either, but it does at least give us all something to give at baby showers. I think I still have some diaper-related stuff in bathroom cabinets here and there. I should probably toss some of that out…
