Encouraging Heroes. You can be one too.

Just in time for Easter, Veggie Tales has released their latest title: Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men. This adorable DVD teaches that there’s no hurt too big for God. Robin Good is the fearless leader of a band of merry men in the faraway town of Bethlingham. The gang fundraises from the rich to give to the poor. When the greedy Prince starts stealing all the hams, the merry men abandon Robin Good and try robbing the rich instead. Can Robin overcome his hurt and save the day?

Also on the DVD is a new Silly Song called The Bubble Wrap (it’s hilarious), and another short story about children overcoming disappointment called Lenny & The Lost Birthday. Managing disappointment is a skill all children desperately need, and parents need to be able to help them through those situations. This story is a great start on meeting that goal.

The boys and I watched the DVD yesterday and all enjoyed it. At the ripe old age of 9, The Mercenary and Captain Earthquake seemed to fear that they might be too old for Veggie Tales, but once again the story proved to be timeless and ageless. I love that about the Veggies!

So here’s the best part of this post: I get to give away a copy of Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men! Use the Rafflecopter widget below to get entries. Good luck!
