FFYF: Memorial Weekend Edition

Good Memorial Weekend, Heroes! I’m hoping you take some time this holiday weekend to remember those who have died to protect us. I know that many have a tradition of remembering loved ones who’ve passed on, and that is a wonderful tradition. The holiday originated with remembering our servicemen and we here at Earnest Parenting will be honoring them on Monday in the town parade and memorial service. If you are a serviceperson, or have one in your family: thank you. Those two small words don’t begin to express my gratitude, but they’re the best I can do for now.

Welcome to the May 27, 2011 edition of fun for your friday. Brayo presents Passion of Beck posted at Ask Yeshua, saying, “Beck goes Black”

David Leonhardt presents DIY Hot Tubs Gone Crazy posted at Hot Tub Covers Canada Blog, saying, “Most of us have the common sense to buy a hot tub from a reputable manufacturer. But some people don’t have common sense, but rather a different kind of sense – a sense of adventure. And when it comes to hot tubs, nothing says adventure like a do-it-yourself hot tub.”

Eleonora presents Cat and Seek » StinkyLittleFeet posted at StinkyLittleFeet, saying, “Our blog recently launched and features funny and embarrassing stuff kids say and do. Stories are submitted by our readers. We’re sending you one that gave us a good laugh!”

Mike Ross presents 6 Stories of Extreme Skydiving Fall Survival posted at Extreme Sports Trader, saying, “Skydiving is one of the most dangerous extreme sports there is, though for some on this list it was not a sport but an actual matter of life and death.”

Christina Siniscalchi presents Kids Say the Darndest Things | Sisternotes posted at Sisternotes.
