Encouraging Heroes. You can be one too.

Welcome to Friday, Heroes! Here’s my smile for the week. While driving together I mentioned that individuals who supervise less mature people while certain older people were gone from the house on a social and/or entertainment mission might just be remunerated for their efforts. (Translation: we may pay the older boys to babysit the youngers when we’re out on a date.) I hadn’t discussed this with Hubby so I used the big words to give him time to consider the idea.

From the back, a boy asked me, “What did you say?”

So I repeated, ending again with the word remuneration. His reply:

“Wait. Did you say get drunk???”

LOL. I guess “inebriate” does sound a little like “remunerate”. And I’m impressed he knew that word at all.
