Still Time to be a Host in 2010

200x200_002.jpg

Hello friends! Sara from the Fresh Air Fund tells me that there are still opportunities to host children who live in the city this summer. The Fresh Air Fund takes children who might otherwise never leave urban life and sends them to the country to live with host families every summer. They’ve been doing this for decades, and it’s a program that I really appreciate. If I could host a child or two, I would. We don’t live far enough east to qualify as hosts.

If you live in the eastern US and are willing to host a child from the city for a few weeks, go to the Fresh Air Fund’s page to learn more and sign up.

Thank you.

This is an awesome charitable act. I don’t have kids of my own and I’d love to be a host for this children. Sadly, I’m not living in the USA. I might search for institutions like this in my place.

I love children. To be with kids is one of my hobbies and I convert it to my profession. I am host of a club where members can be only children. We do a lots of fun at every weekend and also go for outdoor camp once in month.
