So you're saying I can look forward to relaxing sometime before I die? That's a good thing. :)I think piano lessons are a solid foundation for any other musical pursuits a child may have. And building foundations is what I'm all about. My main point is to stuff them full of skills and knowledge and ideas so they can go off and do something with it. What I've told the boys is that they need to take lessons for at least two years, and then can quit or choose another instrument. I'd strongly prefer they play piano for more like 4 years, but 2 is my absolute minimum. We'll evaluate as they go. Do you play the piano?

Air Jordans, I try. I tend to be a workaholic, which isn’t so fun. Thanks for the encouragement! Boys inspire more worry when they're little but girls when they are teens. Tell me - do you think it's true that piano lessons train the kids and structure their learning process even if they aren't going to entertain the world some day?

I think you’re a lot of fun. He seemed to get it.Michelle: It is most DEFINITELY a conspiracy! They probably planned it this summer when we weren't looking.Jennifer: haha...direct their energy. I'm looking forward to when they're hassled adults with ankle-biters so I can laugh at them.Acne: the sighing helps. It usually leads to at least a smile, if not a chuckle. It's all downhill from there!

Doris: you make brick marks look beautiful, my friend.

Doug: I laughed so hard that I was forced to read the post and your comment to TechnoBoy.
