While I doubt hatred will completely be eradicated, what with people directly infecting others, I do believe it will continue to recede. That’s a good thing.

The definition of a recession is two quarters of decline in GDP, and we’re not there yet. I find it very annoying that people are jumping to that diagnosis so quickly. Of course it is possible but I would like to see more faith in American ingenuity and mettle.

I never said Obama would improve anything. I have no faith in his plans to do anything but make our economy worse what with the huge increases in spending he’s proposing (and the tremendous taxe increases that will necessarily follow). Should he implement his plans I fully expect to see a reprise of the Carter years, quite frankly.

Of course if I am proven wrong that would be a happy thing. I am not, however, holding my breath.

I do look forward, though to the time when we fulfill all of Dr. King’s dream…to move beyond colorblindness and on to judging people by the content of their character.
