Hi Amy - you are very welcome! I guess you are right, each successive addition in a multiple string brings an order of magnitude more challenge. We know a couple who brought home a set of quadruplets to meet their big brother, and whenever we think we are busy, we just think of this family!

Yes, our big 6-year old has been and is a wonderful big brother. He is very special in his own right, as he is a triplet set survivor.

(I am writing all about this story right now, to be published some time at the end of this year if I stay on target. And maybe with a little help from Oprah. Oprah, can you hear me?)

Thank you again for a wonderful site - I will be back!

Awwww, thanks Brett. I knew about your triplets and wonderful 6yo from reading your comments at IttyBiz, and wow, I have to say: triplets are a whole 'nother universe from twins. :) Your 6yo must have been so adorable as a big brother to 3 babies! You and your wife are pretty amazing in my book.

Hello! I just stopped in to visit, hopping over from IttyBiz when I noticed that you are a proud mom of two sets of twin boys! Wow, can I say that you are awesome, and your site made me smile, especially this post. As I am the proud father of one very special little 6-year old boy and a set of equally special 3-year old triplets (two more boys, and a little girl), I know a little bit about how unique your life must be.

And yet, you are homeschooling as well! That is really great, and I have to take my hat off to you.

Thanks for helping me smile today!!!

Hi Lian, and welcome! I know what you mean. I've gotten into places with the kids where I said no no no all the time, and grumped at them and never smiled. It's easy to get there, and takes conscious effort to move away from that place. I've tried making a small joke or two, and also just hanging out with the boys if I was really grumpy. What are you planning to do to smile more?
