Hm. Interesting question. I guess I assumed that the meme was aimed at what I was choosing to read for leisure, which I haven't done. I've read lots and lots with the boys. Recently, we've read Cinderella and Bongo the Bear, and a lot of Mother Goose rhymes (boy are those violent). Scooby Doo is a favorite. I started the Black Stallion but we wandered off. The Mouse and the Motorcycle was fun, and Charlotte's Web. Ohh, and Jack and the Beanstalk. I read 2 stories of the little guys' choosing most days and have been reviewing with the older boys after their silent reading time. Great news! We went to the Scholastic book sale on Friday and the Mercenary has been asking to read the books we bought! This is a first!

Why aren't you counting all the books you read with the twins? Some of my favorite books, and the most meaningful, have been children's books.

@Mary: :D I'll let you borrow The Wall, it's a fast read. But I want it back!

@Michelle: Lol, I've seen your boys' books and no you don't have to count them! We'd be counting for a loooooong time. Although, I did get 2 boxes of stuff at the Scholastic sale yesterday, so we're catching up to you.

@Tea Party Girl: I knew you'd be able to use this one and work the tea theme in. :) That's why I tagged you. Loved your post on it.

@Naomi: Okay you just brought back memories of high school and swim team. Not shaving until race day was a way of psyching yourself into swimming faster since you felt all slippery in the water after a shave. Lol. Not that it sped me up anyway. I was the slowest on the team every year.

While I didn't go a whole year - they'd have to put me on methadone if I did that - I went about four months when I was getting IttyBiz started. That would be the same four months I didn't shave my legs and sent my laundry out to get done by someone else. My nanny came over to clean my apartment, too. My mother came from England for nine days and spent most of it with an SOS pad in her hand. So you're not alone.

Gee, why doesn't a mother of two sets of twin boys read more?! Yes, I think Parenting with Love and Logic counts, as long as your doing SOMETHING you enjoy that's just for you.

I'm going to answer your meme this afternoon.
